Shimpei Okada
Shimpei Okada, founder and president of Okada Earthscape, has dedicated his life to the art of horticulture. With a degree in agriculture from Tokyo University and mastery in Ikebana, he immigrated to Canada in 1979 and established his landscape horticulture business in Surrey, BC, in 1984.
Shimpei’s passion and expertise have earned him numerous awards and the role of President of the Vancouver Japanese Gardeners Association, a position he has held for over 35 years. His commitment to creating beautiful landscapes continues to inspire and elevate the industry.
